This not your twice removed second cousins blog...Or something like that...

On August 5th, 1949, lightening struck the dry grasslands that covered Mann Gulch in a faded brown blanket, and ignited a fire that would eventually cover more than 3500 acres and take the lives of 13 Smokejumpers and 1 park ranger. Fifty years later, only one of the three survivors lives to tell the tale. Go to here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mann_Gulch_fire to read the story. I'm not telling it here.

True story though. You should really check it out. Go download the podcast from APM The Story. You're on your own to look that one up.

Marco Polo was never that great of a game. Whirlpool was always a lot more fun. Fist out of water? That was dumb. As are you. You read it. Don't blame me.

If you plan to cheat you plan to win. Good job. A good cheater is the the first winner. Not that the winner isn't always the first. Except in life, when the last person is the winner. Go00000 life! Yay!!!!

Really. Are the fast and the furious movies really all that worthy of a box set? Benny Hill is. I' like to find that somewhere. Here he comes, go go speed racer.

You can get the Magic Jack at Best Buy.
